We are a group of family and friends from the descendants of

August Fred Witt (1863-1945)

and

Phebe L Cummings (1869-1937)

We get together and host a family reunion at Wakanda Park, Menomonie, Wisconsin every three years on the weekend following Father's Day in late JUNE to celebrate the UNION in marriage of August and Phebe Witt that took place on April 30, 1891 in the Township of Spring Brook, Dunn County, Wisconsin, USA.

Ann Elizabeth Hillman was joined in marriage with August and Phebe's only son, Freddie A Witt, on June 12, 1926 in Stillwater, Washington County, Minnesota. Ann was August and Phebe's only daughter-in-law to have children with Freddie.

From the Dunn County News that on June 17, 1926, Freddie and Ann celebrated with a charivari (wedding celebration) on their farm in Spring Brook, Dunn County, Wisconsin where a large number from the vicinity attended and enjoyed the treat of thirty gallons of ice cream.
